Snake Paint
Snake Paint is a small experimental arcade game built around a simple idea:
what if filling space was the goal instead of avoiding it?
You control a snake that grows as it eats food.
As it moves, it “paints” the level.
Each stage asks you to fill a percentage of the area. Some levels reveal solid colors, others reveal hidden images. As your snake grows longer, control becomes more challenging — and (hopefully) more satisfying.
There’s also a random endless mode once you complete the main levels.
This project is still evolving. I’m experimenting with:
-
How satisfying it feels to gradually fill a space
-
How difficulty should scale as the snake grows
-
Whether time-based bonuses add tension or just pressure
-
How much audio and visual feedback makes completion feel rewarding
If you try it, I’d really appreciate your thoughts — especially on difficulty, pacing, and overall feel.
Thanks for playing and helping shape where this goes next.
